The new series is ideally suited for marking and cutting many products some of which are:

Uses of 532nm Green Laser

  • Shallow marking to protect electronics or circuits such as IC packages and Micro-electronic parts.
  •  Black and color marking on metal when the debris and heat generated by IR is not desirable.
  • Melt marking without debris or smoke ideally suited for marking silicon wafers.
  •  Surface removal of materials such as paints without digging into or damaging the material under the surface being removed.
  • Trimming of sensitive electronic parts such as chip resistors, Network resistors, and Hybrid IC (HIC).

The LP9532 532nm green series is designed to mark and cut highly reflective materials, and thin films or highly sensitive substrates and are also perfect for many plastic marking and metal marking applications.

Many of the applications for 355nm system are better served by the LP9532 green series with the inherent smaller spot size of the LP532 series where spot sizes can be as small as 10μm.
